When is the 2.5 Final going to be released?

Where can I find a change log?

    Does it support holiday planner?

    Regards,

    Hi Andre,

    * It will take at least another three months for 2.5 to be stable.

    * There is a file called new_changed_features.txt in the root of OrangeHRM. It contains changes in every release.

    * Can you please elaborate on what you expect as “Holiday Planner”?

    Hello!

    Holiday Planner I mean:

Users should submit their holidays online and want for its approval. Each user should be assigned with 22 days of holidays per year, and this value will decrease automatically.

It’s like a “Leave” specifically for holidays

    Hi Andre,

    * Login as Admin and go to Leave module.
    * Choose Define Leave Types and define a type called Holidays (or what ever name you want).
    * Choose Leave > Leave Summary > Employee Leave Summary and choose a year.
    * Assign 22 leaves of the type you just defined to each employee.
    * Now employees can apply leaves for this leave type and once their leaves approved, the amount will be deducted from remaining balance.

    * If you assign leaves as Admin, those leaves are automatically marked as approved.
    * Otherwise you can define a supervisor for an employee (PIM > Select an Employee > Report To) and let the supervisor approve applied leaves by his subordinates.

Since this discussion is off topic of this blog post, if you need further clarifications, you may post at our forum http://www.orangehrm.com/forum/
