Disparate Treatment

Disparate treatment in organizations occurs when members of a particular race, sex, ethnic group, sexual orientation, etc. have been denied the same employment, promotion, membership, or other opportunities available to other employees or applicants.

Discriminatory methods are referred to by the terms disparate effect  and disproportionate treatment as well. While disparate treatment is purposeful, the disparate effect is frequently referred to as the unintended effects of discrimination.

With the use of a suitable HR management software, organizations can easily build HR administration policies & frameworks specific to an organization that is transparent and accurate in order to avoid disparate treatment in activities such as recruitment.
