Millennials

Millennial is the name given to the generation born from 1981 to 1996 and is also known as Generation Y (Gen Y). Millennials are so named because they were born near, or came of age during the dawn of the 21st century--the new millennium. In an organizational context, millennials generally expect flexibility in their working hours and are inclined to surrender pay increases and promotions for a flexible running agenda, more freedom, and good work-life balance.
